1 to make sudden, violent contact with sb/sth 打;撞: The bus left the road and hit a tree. 公共汽车偏离马路,撞在一棵树上。 to hit somebody in the eye/across the face/on the nose 打某人的眼睛╱脸╱鼻子
Strike is a more formal word than hit. Beat means to hit many times He was badly beaten in the attack.hit相比,strike多用于正式场合。连续地打叫beat:He was badly beaten in the attack.他遇袭时遭人毒打。
